At GNOY Homes, we believe that stable housing is only one part of a comprehensive path to long-term success. Our team works closely with residents to provide the following:

Job Search Assistance

Helping residents identify job opportunities that match their skills and experience, whether it’s full-time, part-time, or transitional employment.

Resume and Interview Coaching

Assisting with resume building, application processes, and preparing for interviews to boost confidence and readiness for the workforce.

Skills Development

Offering guidance and support for residents seeking to improve their job skills, whether through workshops, training, or certifications.

Connection to Employers

Leveraging our partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create employment opportunities for our residents.

Through our direct employment support, we empower individuals to secure jobs that provide stability and purpose, helping them transition to a more independent lifestyle.

Life Skills Training

At GNOY Homes, we recognize that stable housing is just the beginning of a successful, independent life. To further empower our residents, we offer Life Skills Training, designed to equip individuals with the essential skills they need to thrive in their daily lives. This program focuses on fostering independence, building self-confidence, and ensuring long-term personal and professional success.

Our Life Skills Training includes:

Financial Literacy

Teaching residents how to budget, manage finances, pay bills, and save for the future. We also cover understanding credit and avoiding debt.

Household Management

Providing practical guidance on maintaining a clean, organized home, as well as cooking healthy meals, grocery shopping, and performing other daily tasks.

Health and Wellness

Promoting overall well-being by educating residents on nutrition, exercise, self-care, and accessing healthcare services.

Communication and Social Skills

Helping residents develop strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution skills, and building meaningful relationships with others.

Employment Readiness

Preparing residents for the workforce with time management, professionalism, and strategies to succeed in the workplace.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

Teaching critical thinking and how to make informed decisions while managing challenges in a constructive way.

Personal Responsibility and Self-Advocacy

Empowering residents to set and achieve personal goals, manage responsibilities, and advocate for themselves in various life situations.

Our Life Skills Training is tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges. By focusing on personal growth and practical skills, we help individuals move from stability to self-sufficiency.

For other services, including healthcare, and counseling, we collaborate with a network of trusted and competent service providers to ensure that all the needs of our residents are met holistically.
